Sheesh, sorry for not updating in over 2 years! I think a larger overall update
is probably coming very soon, but for right now, a few things to mention:
Michael Holt has a number of solo albums
available, as well as original copies of Bingham's Hole (ft/ Hiawatha's Lullaby).
Check it out here on Michael's page.
Keith set up a Mommyheads discussion group over
at Yahoo. Go join up!

Also, be sure to check out the swell quirky-pop stylings of fellow Mommyheads fan Mitch Friedman. Hi Mitch!

And for what it's worth, I couldn't help noticing recently, as I was watching the TV movie, Martha Inc., the score was done
by someone named "Adam Cohen"...

We can all assume that Adam is still alive and well via photographic evidence
from his pal John Vanderslice
(whose latest album, Life and Death of an American Fourtracker, I highly recommend.)

A slew of live stuff and other goodies should be showing up here in the near future (thanks
to Jay!). Check back regularly for updates. Here's one:

Michael Holt's solo album, Pajama Garden,
can now be obtained on CD from Fang Records. It is
highly recommended for fans of the Mommyheads, particularly for fans of their early stuff. Thanks
to Francis Manns for the tip-off!

For those of you keeping score, note that Jeff Palmer has been picked up by
the wonderful quasi-alt-country band The Court & Spark.

Chris Rael has just informed me that the Acorn

Fang Records website to buy it.

I'll be adding features and content in the coming weeks, but I would greatly
appreciate any comments/info/corrections/etc. that anyone can provide. Just
drop me a line.

Adam has composed the music for a new Macy's commercial starring his sister, Haylynn.
"ANYONE inclined to diss [sic] Coney Island would do well to take note
of the Cohen family, which hails from the neighborhood. Daughter Haylynn Cohen
began her modeling career at 16 when she was discovered skateboarding on the
streets while attending Lincoln HS, signed with Next models, and snagged ad
campaigns for Tommy Hilfiger, Versace, Missoni and Burberry. Her brother Adam,
meanwhile, founded a fine band called the Mommyheads that got signed to Geffen
records. Their dad, Dave, dreamed they'd work together, and now Adam has written
the music for a new Macy's commercial starring his sis."

Jenny Toomey has covered 'Needmore, PA' on her splendid new album,
'Antidote'.
